Today
Meili and Noah had their 6 month teeth cleaning and NO CAVITIES-
Wohoo!!!! I had to take note of today's visit because it's the first visit where Noah actually let the dental hygienist take x-rays of his teeth, remove plaque and polished them and just let her do her job which made me so proud of him-I was pleasantly surprised.
The last visit was a nightmare. He started to cry the moment we were called back. He refused to open his mouth and they had to basically put him in a head lock and pry his mouth open. He refused his
fluoride treatment, and did I mention that there was not way he was going to let them do x-rays on his teeth. I ended up brushing his teeth.
SOO... you can see why I am so happy about this visit.
Of course he is older so that helps and this
hygienist was wonderful she made the x-rays fun for him and she sang songs with him and she was absolutely wonderful! Now, we will wait and see how he handles the
sealants (next visit).
Meili was wonderful too. However, we are noticing that when her Adult teeth are
coming in there just isn't enough room and they are starting to turn-we told her she probably will have to get braces.-she really freaked out! She is so dramatic sometimes it's exhausting! We told her we'll see what she says in another 10 years.
