DESITIN DISASTER

NOAH, YOU ARE A NAUGHTY BOY!!!!!
DESITIN GOES ON YOUR BUM AND NOT YOUR FACE!

Meili waiting to go to school

Meili loves her teacher Mrs. Rodenburg; she enjoys playing and learning with her classmates and really loves the breakfast they serve each day!!! So far she has really adjusted well to the change and she seems to get along with her classmates just fine, so I guess I didn't have anything to worry about (knock on wood).

HOW THEY SPENT THE LAST OF SUMMER BREAK

Meili is Brandon's sidekick in Mario Galaxy, she collects the jewels and he collects the stars, TEAMWORK!!!!

Big Sister

I told Meili while I was preparing dinner that it was Noah's nap time-she disappears. After getting everything cleaned up in the kitchen I hurry to find Noah-where is he? Where is Meili? I walked upstairs and there Meili was, she had already tucked Noah under his blankets reading him a story. Shocked and very pleased I hurried back downstairs to grab the camera wanting to capture the moment.
Lately Meili has been very helpful-she gets Dad's work clothes and lays them on the bed while he is in the shower. She'll do little tasks around the house without having to be asked-she has really impressed me. For this particular thing, I hope it is not a phase, like I do with so many other things. She is such a sweet girl and I am a lucky Mommy-Thanks Meili!!!

Pre- K

I can't believe that Meili is going to be in Pre-K this year!!! It's going to be a bittersweet experience for all of us. I'm dreading the whole idea of sending her to school in Omaha (No offense to those who like the schools here), but the majority of kids around here are tough in words and actions and she is a very sensitive girl. I don't know...I just hope that she will be able to find good friends, and enjoy learning and socializing. The sweet part is that I will get almost three whole hours for Noah. I feel like he is always put on the back burner because Meili demands so much attention and she gets it. So, I'm really excited that I can sit with him and do puzzles, and read books, and play whatever games we think up, and let him have my complete attention for those few hours.

Oh, and shopping -FuN!!! She is so fun to shop for, she loves shopping for clothes (anything with glitter or sparkles) and she will actually try them ALL on for me!!!

Fun at the water playground

Having fun riding her bike at Elmwood Park

So I made Crock pot Chicken noodle soup--Sounds Good, Right??

Okay, so maybe the noodles turned into mush-but what about the taste... don't I get points for that?

I guess not!!
