It is time!

There are no more excuses to delay Noah's potty training. The first day I felt really discouraged. Noah refused to sit on the toilet and every time I would ask him if he needed to go he said "no" shortly after he would have an accident. I wasn't sure if he was ready because he definitely wasn't willing. However, today has been very successful and I am glad we didn't give up. He tells me before he has to go and he is very compliant. I know that we're still going to have lots of accidents but I am glad that today was better.

Summer Break Is Officially Over :(

What can I say? I forgot to pack the pillows.

We loved spending time with Grandma and Grandpa Hooper!

The kids had a blast feeding the fish with Dad and Grandpa Taylor. I've never seen so many fish in one place.

Noah couldn't reach down and touch the fish like everyone else, so Grandpa held him up while he dipped his toes in the nasty.

I love this picture, minus the scratch from our lens, both of them looking down walking side to side.

A bridge being built at Hoover Dam.

Look at poor Meili's face. She kept saying "this was a mistake, I want to be back with Grandma" It was incredibly hot and we were all feeling it. Can you believe just for 4 Popsicles it cost us $16.00-HOW DO THEY SLEEP AT NIGHT?

Different angle of the bridge.

They love Tiffy

Chinese dumplings in the process-yum yum!

Too bad it takes us nearly the whole day non-stop to make this delicious meal.

The Cactus Garden.Do we look prickly?

Bad to the bones...or nut.

Noah's a lady's man

Look. Noah matches"Hurry Mom, I hate this".
The boys getting a little beach time.

Some well deserved splash time at Sea World.

Shark? Where?

We're not in this picture but Meili and I did ride this ride and it was so much fun. I was worried that at the last minute Meili would start crying but she had a blast! I knew loving to ride roller coasters was genetic.
Meili was such a great sport while participating in the Reunion Olympics. I was also surprised how competitive and how well she did working in a team-GO GRANDMA'S TEAM!!!!

Sun sick? :( But we just got here!
So sorry Babe!I now can put on my resume under: achievements. I won the paper bag game.
Mom vs daughter. By the way if it were just me and meili left in the contest I would have let her win but since I was going against Clayton-it was war!!
Digging for the poor unfortunate Hermit Crabs.
I love this picture of Breanna. Pie and Braces!

Now this is Brandon's kind of contest! We are hurrying to build our sandcastle. we went so far to even build a mote and a swimming pool with a mermaid in it (made of sand, seaweed, and shells).Meili loved the sand and shells. Wasn't crazy about the ocean. She said she was afraid it would pull her in too deep (the waves about knocked us over a couple of times).Going for a stroll on the beach. Now just imagine mine and Brandon's head in between them both. With them in the same position-no matter what they kept rolling back into the same position.Nick, Jackie, Noah, Meili and Grandma Taylor.
This was a new experience for the kids. There were a lot of small apples on the tree and they got a kick out of finding them!

Jumping on the trampoline at Great Grandma and Grandpa Taylor's house.Uncle Nick is the coolest!!!
We call it "Squeaky Cheese".Because when you chew it it rubs against your teeth making a squeaky sound!Visiting Great Grandma Jensen.

It's all in the wrist. Tage and Meili.

First day of school

Today was Meili's first day of school and she rode the bus there. The bus stops right down the corner from our house. The driver takes roll and has Meili and her friend Kaleb sit up in the front. Brandon followed them to school we wanted to make sure she knew what to do when she got dropped off. Brandon said that the driver dropped them off but no one came to pick them up, which the teacher said that there would be someone out to help take them inside. However, he did see a man with a walkie talkie come over and get one of the girls who had ridden with Meili. Brandon thinks that him standing by Meili could be the reason why that man didn't take Meili and Kaleb back with him. I'm going to call the school tomorrow morning.
Having Meili gone has been really weird because it's all day long! I'm not complaining and neither is Noah (mommy to himself:) ) but home does feels a little different.
