We think it's the reason Noah's teeth are starting to come forward and that was one reason. The other reason was that we were becoming too dependant on it. It was constantly in Noah's mouth, the only time it wasn't was while Noah ate and then it was right back in his mouth. Brandon decided to take the pacifier away right before church, I don't think that was a good idea. Noah screamed for a whole hour at church. I had to take him out into the car for a good portion of that time, But it did help in a way. Sister Slater told me that her daughter cut the tip off and then let the child have the pacifier back. The child, like most people don't want something broken and will eventually lose interest in it. WELL...It worked, Noah was of course sad because he loved his pacifier. He does cry sometimes at night for it, but now it's mostly a joke. He has the pacifier and he can try to put it in his mouth, but it usually falls out and we just say "it's broken" and try to make it a joke. He laughs and then finds something else to do. So thank you for your advice Sister Slater. it was much better than "Cold Turkey" approach that we were trying to use
